 A L M S  I S  W O R T H L E S S ?      Every muslim has been teached to do good since at the young age. They learn not only from family institution but from school and also from their life journey. In holy scripture which is al-Quran elaborate and asked them how to do good things. For example fastings. giving alms, charity and respect towards the elders. In this post, i would like to highlight giving alms based on 5 pillars of islam as our main discussion just like the tittle.      Before we go deep in our discussion, i would like to share another part in pillars of islam besides giving alms, which are first Witnessing that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah . And it follows by Regular prayer and regular alms . Next is Fasting in month of ramadhan and Lastly is do pilgrimage when you are affordable to do so .     Back to the question, is it true alms is worthless?
